Job Title: ETL Data Integration Engineer (Informatica IICS, Snowflake, Tableau, Healthcare)
Location: Austin,TX - (Hybrid - Local candidates only)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Qualifications: - Proficient in developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica IICS, IDMC, or Power Center
- Skilled in acquiring and integrating data from multiple sources using Informatica for Tableau data visualization
- Data sources include: Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF
- Ability to design and develop complex, efficient, and high-performance SQL scripts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience as a system analyst on data analytics, performance management, or data warehousing projects
- Expertise in technical writing and diagramming, using tools such as Visio, Erwin, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project
- Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
- Hands-on experience developing scripts using Python
- Active participation on an Agile sprint team
- Proficiency in JIRA software
Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to write well-designed, testable, and efficient code following software development best practices
- Understanding of security principles, especially as applied to healthcare data
- Experience with advanced software components for performance metrics, data visualization, or business intelligence
- Strong time-management and multitasking skills; able to self-manage responsibilities and prioritize conflicting assignments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry
- Experience with HHS agencies
- Experience working with PII or PHI data
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and APIs
- Experience creating user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Functional knowledge or hands-on experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau, including connecting to external data sources
Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain robust ETL processes using Informatica tools
- Integrate diverse data sources to support Tableau-based reporting and visualization
- Develop and optimize SQL scripts for complex data manipulation and analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Agile team members to deliver data platform solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and diagrams to support system analysis and design
- Use Python and other tools to support data transformation and automation tasks
- Contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team
- Utilize JIRA for task tracking and project management
- Ensure compliance with data security standards, especially in handling healthcare data
