Salary: $91,811 - 110,400 per year Requirements:

• I possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Network Engineering and Administration.
• I currently hold a Top Secret/SCI security clearance and will maintain it.
• I have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree, and I understand that additional experience can substitute for this requirement.
• I hold a current Cisco CCNA certification.
• I meet the DoDM 8140.03 requirements and am eligible for IAT level II access upon hire. Additionally, I will secure an ITIL V4 Foundation certification within six months of my hire date. Other specific certifications may be necessary based on my job responsibilities.
• I have knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, Spanning Tree Protocol, ISAKMP, ESP, SIP, and SCCP.
• I am familiar with current Cisco IOS software and hardware features.
• I have hands-on experience with HAIPE-based encryption devices, specifically KG-175 and KG-250x/255x.
• I possess knowledge and experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) VoIP and collaboration systems.
• I am capable of configuring and troubleshooting DMVPN and GRE tunnels.
• I can configure and troubleshoot Site-to-Site VPN tunnels.
• I excel in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• I work efficiently in fast-paced settings and can multitask while maintaining high-quality work.
• I am highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously.
• I possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have great attention to detail.
• I am results-oriented, energetic, and motivated.
• I am prepared for work that is typically conducted at client site locations, which necessitates appropriate safety precautions and may require some physical effort in handling light materials, boxes, or equipment.

Responsibilities:

• I collaborate with network personnel to ensure smooth and dependable operation of various network devices and infrastructure hardware to maintain system availability and reliability.
• I coordinate with vendors, Internet service providers, and DISA circuit actions officers to design configurations and develop architectural plans, ensuring approval and success of changes within the US BICES-X enterprise.
• I monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all networked software associated with operating systems.
• I assist in designing network architectures for new or existing computer systems.
• I generate KG, router, and switch configurations for both deployable and non-deployable sites accessing US BICES-X.
• I analyze and implement DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to uphold network architecture security.
• I participate in upgrading operating systems and designing network enhancements.
• I provide input on new or existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to network administration.
• I offer guidance and leadership to less-experienced systems engineers when necessary.
• I maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
• I possess comprehensive knowledge of network engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
• I am knowledgeable about the associated hardware, software, and equipment.
• I have experience in Data Center and Virtualization.
• I actively engage in special projects as assigned.

The typical salary range for this position is $91,811 - $110,400. However, compensation is not guaranteed to fall within this range, as it will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
