Assistant Farm Manager / Farm Equipment Operator and Maintenance position available on a family farm in northwest Kansas. Dryland wheat, corn, and soy beans with some central pivot irrigation. Modern farm shop with heat and air conditioning. Mostly newer equipment with GPS, yield monitoring, field mapping, sprayer and fertilizer application. Applicant must be self-motivated person with the ability to think and work independently. MUST have experience operating and maintaining modern farm equipment including: semi-trucks, sprayers, planters, combines and drills. Welding experience a plus. Must have a Class A CDL and a private applicators license or the ability to obtain them. Benefits: 5 days paid vacation yearly, 2 paid sick days yearly, employer will provide employee a single coverage health policy through the business and will help employee find housing in the area Salary $60,000.
