Job Description

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Miami, FL office. 1 day remote after 90 days.

Note: You must have at least 3 years of experience in commercial real estate OR corporate law. If you do not meet this requirement, please do not schedule a call, as it will be canceled.

Job Description

  • Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in real estate and corporate matters
  • Draft and edit legal documents, correspondence, and agreements under deadlines
  • Open new matters and handle conflict checks and engagement letters
  • Assemble closing binders and organize closing documents
  • Scan, save, and manage documents in the document management system
  • Prepare and submit expense reimbursements
  • Track matters from inception to close
  • Support other administrative staff and team members as needed

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in commercial real estate OR corporate law
  • Strong understanding of legal real estate terminology and transaction processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, PDF tools, and legal document tools such as Litera
  • Excellent proofreading and formatting skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Skilled in saving/redlining documents and using document management systems like iManage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
