Job Description

About Slip Robotics

Slip Robotics is transforming the future of logistics automation. As we scale rapidly, we’re building the foundation for world-class field service operations. We’re looking for an Operations Program Manager who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and is excited to help us build from the ground up.

Role Summary

The Operations Program Manager will drive the execution of critical cross-functional programs across Field Service, Field Engineering, Logistics, Customer Success, and Product. You will own the structure, coordination, and follow-through of initiatives that improve service delivery, technician efficiency, and customer satisfaction—laying the groundwork for scalable growth. Lastly, this role will also serve as a critical bridge between Product and Operations—translating the company’s product roadmap into operational readiness across field service, customer onboarding, logistics, and support systems.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Execution

  • Lead and manage high-impact operational programs (e.g., site launches, tool rollouts, SOP deployment)
  • Create program charters, timelines, and success metrics; track execution to completion
  • Manage dependencies across field teams, engineering, CS, and product
  • Program-manage cross-functional readiness for new product and customer launches, including real estate setup, technician staffing and training, inventory planning, and field communications

Field Operations Optimization

  • Partner with FO, FE, and Logistics to identify workflow gaps and lead improvements
  • Coordinate rollout of process changes, tool upgrades, and training initiatives
  • Align operations with KPIs around uptime, CSAT, cost-to-serve, and SLA compliance

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the connective tissue between teams: Field Ops, CS, Product, and BI
  • Drive alignment on priorities and remove blockers that impede execution
  • Facilitate program standups, status updates, and executive reporting

Systems & Tooling Enablement

  • Support the implementation and adoption of internal tools (e.g., ERP, FSM, dashboards)
  • Gather field feedback and translate into product/tooling requirements
  • Own the “last mile” of deployment for tools and processes in the field

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Program Management, BizOps, Operations, or Consulting
  • Experience coordinating field service or hardware-focused ops preferred
  • Strong project management skills (planning, risk mitigation, execution)
  • Excellent communicator who can synthesize details and drive clarity
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using metrics and KPIs to guide decisions
  • Startup or scale-up experience a plus

What Success Looks Like

  • Operational programs are executed on time and deliver measurable impact
  • Field teams report higher clarity, efficiency, and tool adoption
  • Margins improve through better coordination, uptime, and reduced waste

Benefits

  • Be a part of a passionate and innovative team.
  • Work on groundbreaking technology in robotics and automation.
  • Opportunity to shape the future of logistics and freight industries.
  • Competitive compensation and equity options.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Permissive time off.
