What you’ll do:

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern – Software Developer

Expected Start Date: August 2025

Duration: 6 months (potential extension for another 6 months)

Working Hours: 40 hours a week

Location: Palo Alto, CA

 

SAP Labs, LLC. seeks a Software Development Intern for the Innovation Center at our Palo Alto CA location responsible for development, focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex software and technology innovation in a development team. 
• Work as a developer (full stack) in an agile team setup on innovative applications and prototypes.

• Self-starter with a growth mindset. Passion for innovation with emerging technologies.
• Build prototypes based on cutting-edge technologies and topics in areas such as AR/VR, Metaverse, Blockchain, Self-sovereign Identity, Data Security & Privacy, and ML/AI. 
• Explore and experiment with a large variety of innovative solutions and technologies to assess their desirability, feasibility, and viability in a business context. • Work on complex systems and integrate with SAP solutions. 
• Show initiative and drive issues to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency.
• Easily move and learn new topics.

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. 

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters in a related field. Student from Hasso Plattner Institute highly preferred.
  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
  • Technical competence in one or more programming languages
  • Knowledge of source control systems (Git) and Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (Jenkins)
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English 
  • Be enthusiastic learners, users and advocates of our game-changing technology, products and services

  • Demonstrates full responsibility for accepted tasks

The targeted combined range for this position is 0 - 0(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
