Job Description

Local Fabrication company in search of a TIG Welder on first shift for their company. Would be welding various types of products via client orders. ** You will be tested on TIG welding* *
Schedule: 6:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday 40hrs/week
**This is NOT climate controlled, so it will be hot in the welding building**

1. Develops welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques.
2. Collects equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements; ordering supplies and gases.
3. Fabricates components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting-up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method.
4. Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
5. Documents actions by completing records.
6. Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations.
7. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
8. Accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
